Breakfast in a historic diner, a perfect combination! I was told by some friends I needed to try it out so I finally made my way here. The diner reminded me of the old places I used to visit in New Jersey. The staff were friendly and fast with the food. The line to order was long and there isn't a ton of seating but don't let that bother you as people cycled through fairly rapidly and I didn't need to wait for a seat. I tried the Breakfast Deal (sausage, bacon, egg, beans, toast, coffee) and added hash browns, all for $14 USD. Pretty good food for a very affordable price gets them a win in my book. Worth visiting if you are in the area!

We couldn't visit London and not get English Breakfast! I looked up places that had good reviews and Regency Cafe was right in the area that we would be passing by in. It did not disappoint! Don't be discouraged if the line is long - it moves pretty quickly! Be sure you know what you want to order, the head person at the cashier is working fast and makes you want to order fast too! Everything is extremely efficient, even if most tables are taken, by the time you get your food, another table is cleaned up ready for another customer to be seated. We got the Full English Breakfast, and WOW what a plate! You could definitely share this plate with someone else and be satisfied! I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed Black Pudding, it was just a crispy sausage in my eyes. Beans were great, eggs were great, hash browns great... I only didn't really enjoy the Bubble & Squeak. It was just too dense for me and mushy. We also tried Corned Beef and that was decent, although we definitely didn't need to order both items off the menu. Overall, a great spot to get English Breakfast if you're in the area!

Heard this spot had the best English Breakfast in London and it did not disappoint. Quite the line to order but it moves quicklyish. Pretty fast turnover so I didn't have an issue getting a table once I ordered. I went with the Breakfast deal w/ beans, toast, and coffee then added the black pudding. The food was amazing! (The coffee was not good, so order tea instead.) Great service! Would definitely recommend as the spot to get an English Breakfast.

I love this traditional art deco cafe close to our Airbnb. I had to come back twice during our 5 days trip. I had the egg Benedict on the first day that was a bomb! We also tried different things, sauce and liver, set breakfast with beans, bacon, sausage, toast and tea. This place get busy. The kitchen staffs and the owner are a great team. They hustle and bustle all day long.

One of the things I wanted the most on my trip to England was a proper English breakfast, and the Regency Cafe delivered. This place is the English equivalent to an American greasy spoon diner. I was able to get what I wanted which was beans, sausage, eggs, and tomatoes. I wish I added the blood sausage to my order though. My wife was able to get a light breakfast of eggs and toast. My son got sausage and chips (never knew of these breakfast combo before), and my daughter got bacon and eggs which she liked. The eggs and bacon are better quality than you can get in the States, and we enjoyed the tea. A gem for sure!

Stopped by for a traditional English breakfast plate and experience while exploring the nearby area. You order the food at the counter and grab a seat. Although the establishment seems to not have enough tables, the hardworking waiters quickly make them available as diners finish their meal and go. The portions are huge and the prices are affordable. We ordered the English breakfast with all the extras along with a bread pudding, and this was more than enough food for two people. The black pudding, sausage, toast, and hash browns were the highlights of the dish. The bacon, however, was too salty for my tastes. There was also English vibes provided by the diner decor and direct service. With the of quantity of food for the price and quick service, I'd return next time I'm in the area.

This is the quintessential English breakfast spot. Service is....adequate. It's a good test of whether you're an idiot tourist or a capable traveler. If you get bad service it's 100% on you. Interior is crowded but that's part of the experience. You come here for the food and the experience. I was not disappointed in the slightest.

I actually hadn't heard of this place while planning my trip to London but was staying in the area and looking for a good meal after my 10 hour flight. This was the most popular place in the area so we picked this as our first meal in the UK and it was definitely the pick me up we needed There's not a lot to say about this place, it's pretty no non-sense bustling diner with lots of people. You can basically build your own breakfast with whatever you want. It seems like there's generally a long line but it moves quickly and the whole business seems quite efficient and fast (a huge kudos to the lady who shouts out the orders, she has the loudest projecting voice I've heard from anyone working at any restaurant ever, I'm honestly shockingly impressed) My family and I definitely went a little overboard ordering but we wanted to try some of everything and I honestly don't regret anything. We were pretty KO'd afterward but it was just what we needed. I wouldn't say any one component was a stand out but they were all executed so well and it's really the combination of everything together that makes the full english breakfast such a satisfying meal. It was also my first time trying black pudding and I was honestly a big fan Highly highly recommend for the true full english breakfast experience!
